I came to yoga for the same reasons many other people do: negative life changes, health problems caused by stress and the feeling that something was missing. After my first yoga class I quickly noticed that things started to flow again. I became more conscious of my own body and noticeably more easygoing and relaxed, as well as developing a new sense of self worth.
The yoga teachers who guided me through my first years of practice taught me mindfulness and acceptance. After almost four years, I decided to do my first teacher training with Nicky Knoff, which allowed me to experience yoga and myself on a deeper level.
